A Luminous Paper Art workshop is a great way to spend a relaxing time with your organization’s members, build trust and camaraderie with co-workers, or host a unique get-together with friends.
The format of your workshop can be flexible. Customize your time together to also include your own activities such as team-building, a presentation, ice-breakers, or games while you learn.

What’s included:
Personalized hands-on lesson in creating a paper art piece
Art template for each attendee (choose from many available templates)
Wooden floating frame (choose from black, white, or natural)
All art supplies
Three-hour event (30 minutes of setup/instructions, two hours of hands-on learning, 30 minutes of wind down/clean up)

We will work directly with your representative who will schedule the workshop and sign up on behalf of your group.
Click the Paper Art Template Options button below to review available art templates. Share the link with your attendees and gather their choices to enter upon signing up below. Custom templates for your organization or company can be made to order.
(Templates are labeled beginner, immediate, or advanced based on difficulty level. We recommend choosing a beginner or intermediate template for your first workshop. Due to the difficulty of the medium and use of sharp craft knife, we recommend participants be ages 15 or older.)
Select the venue (your designated site or in our studio) and the number of attendees for your workshop (minimum 5 and maximum 20 attendees per workshop). When you add your purchase to the cart, a pop-up form will ask for contact information, date & time, and attendee names and selected templates.

Private events may be held at your designated site or in our studio.
In-studio workshops are held at A Work of Heart studio near downtown San Jose. Venue includes a large art studio, work tables, rest rooms, and access to private parking (in the rear).
Easy access from Highway 87 or 280, located on Race St. between Park Ave. and The Alameda, San Jose.

Protocols remain fluid as the county and state provide guidance and mandates for businesses. March 1, 2022 Santa Clara County has lifted the requirement that masks must be worn indoors in public places. It is a personal or corporate policy decision to wear masks in your private/corporate workshop.
