Learn to make Luminous Paper Art!
We aim to not only teach you how to make beautiful paper art, but to give you a relaxing and fun afternoon and a handmade paper art piece to take home. Workshops each have space for up to 20 people.
What’s included in the workshop:
Personalized hands-on lesson in creating your own 7-inch Luminous Paper Art piece
Art template of your choice (choose from many available templates)
Wood floating frame (black, white, or natural) and with glass inserts
Art supplies needed for creating your art

Click the Art Template Options button below to review all the art templates. Once you decide on a template, sign up for a workshop below.
Templates are labeled beginner, immediate, or advanced based on difficulty level. We recommend choosing a beginner or intermediate template for your first workshop.
Sign up:
Select a template from the drop-down list below, add a quantity of “1,” and click the Add to Cart button. A form will pop up to collect your contact information. (Repeat the sign-up process for each person attending.) You will have an opportunity to review your order prior to checking out.
Due to difficulty of the medium and use of sharp craft knife, classes are restricted to ages 15 and older.

Paper Art template packets - $10
Light box (illuminates your art while you work) - $125
Artist’s Toolkit (supplies you need to make paper art) - $25
Frame 8”x8” (White, Natural, Black) - $20

Venue:
Workshops are held at A Work of Heart art studio near downtown San Jose. Venue includes a large art studio, work tables, rest rooms, and access to private parking (in the rear).
Easy access from Highway 87 or 280, located on Race St. between Park Ave. and The Alameda, San Jose.
COVID-19 Protocols:
Studio work areas and supplies are cleaned prior to all classes. As per Santa Clara County health mandate, masks are required to be worn indoors.
